Parents, Make Sure Your Child Is Current On Immunizations
 |
Attention Parents!!! If your child becomes 4 years old before August 12th, please update his/her immunizations with your doctor as instructed at spring registration. Bring a copy of the updated record to your child's school nurse.
If your child is 11-18 years old and the last shots he/she received were in kindergarten, they are due a Tdap booster, the meningitis vaccine and possibly the varicella (chickenpox) vaccine. Please schedule an appointment with your doctor to update these immunizations. Please send a copy of the updated shot record in a sealed enveloped marked "School Nurse" at the beginning of next school year. |
|
If you did not give a shot record to the school because it was lost to Katrina, you must provide proof of your child's age appropriate immunizations. We will EXCLUDE students without appropriate updated shot records in August.
Thank you for your cooperation, School Nurses |

Prior Year Savings Bonds
NOTICE: Savings Bonds for the second semester of 2006-2007 were mailed to graduates and students who moved. Some have been returned to the school board office. Please check to see if your name has been added to our list. ConocoPhillips generously awards students in grades 6 through 12 who attain a 3.5 or better GPA for a semester a $50 EE Series Savings Bond. We are trying to locate students who were eligible to receive savings bonds during the 03-04, 04-05 and 05-06 school years but have either moved away or graduated. In May, students who were enrolled in a Plaquemines Parish public school received their prior year bonds from Betsy Brien, Public Relations Coordinator of ConocoPhillips. Savings Bonds for the first semester of 2006-2007 were mailed with the end of year report cards. The second semester bonds will be distributed at the beginning of the school year. Please be sure to give a forwarding address to your school if you move during the summer. Please click here for prior year student listing.
Thank you ConocoPhillips!
